Vine
The vine comes from parcels that have always been considered as the best, and is pampered year after year.
Grape
Its ripeness is closely analyzed, in order to create a vintage right after the harvest.
The grape varieties are assembled based on the estate’s general proportions.
Wine
The whole two-year ageing process takes place in new casks, like in the old days. Although this type of ageing has virtually disappeared from Medoc, it is still being used for the Grands Crus Classés.
Bottle
The bottle labels of Château Vieux Robin’s first collection (six vintages) feature Michel Brosseau’s artwork. Since 2000, they have featured Eric Chabrely’s colorful works of art.
